Scranton, Pa. (9/25/19) – Marywood University used two late goals to overcome an early deficit and edge the Kean University women's soccer team by the final of 2-1 on Wednesday night in non-conference action.
Kean's (3-5) Clare Lewis one-timed Deana Abdou's corner kick serve to put the Cougars on top 1-0 in the 16th minute.
The score would remain that way until well into the second half before the Pacers tied things up in the 73rd minute and two minutes later notch what would be the game-winner.
Sophomore Mary Bystrycki stopped five shots in the loss.
The Cougars return to NJAC action on Saturday when they travel to Rutgers-Camden.
