UNION, N.J. (9/25/19) - The Kean University men's soccer team dropped a non-conference contest to Drew University, 1-0 in double overtime on Wednesday evening.
Ian Sawicki scored the golden goal for the Rangers who improve to 4-4 overall. Alex Nicol tallied four shots for the Cougars who fall to 5-4 overall.
Despite the loss, Kean edged Drew on shots (19-17) and were even on corners (2-2). The Cougars were called for 16 fouls and had two cards issued.
Fanor Arango recorded three shots, while Daniel Calderon, Matthew Almeida, and Calvin Carbajal all tallied two shots apiece.
Dillon Konzelmann collected six saves in the loss.
Head Coach Peter-John Falloon and the Cougars will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 28th, hosting the Scarlet Raptors of Rutgers-Camden at 1:00 p.m.
