Cailyn Ross all posted double-digit kills over two matches as the Kean University women's volleyball team bounced back with victories over SUNY Oneonta and Mount Saint Mary's College on the final day of the Hawk Invitational.
Kean 3, SUNY Oneonta 0
The Cougars (4-3) got back to their winning ways with a straight sets sweep of the Red Dragons (4-3). Ross finished with 10 kills, while Larkin totaled eight kills, four digs and three aces.
Brianna Calvano tallied six kills, 24 assists, three blocks and five digs, while
Sedona Gaard finished with 12 digs and four kills.
The Cougars posted a .280 hitting percentage, while allowing just 10 errors. Oneonta tallied a .048 hitting percentage with 24 errors committed.
Kean 3, Mount Saint Mary's 0
The Cougars (5-3) took their second match of the afternoon with a straight sets sweep of the Knights (2-5). Strozewski totaled nine kills and three blocks, while Hall totaled nine kills and a block.
Britni Jaskot collected 27 assists and nine digs, while
Kortnee Nelson finished with 14 digs.
Kean posted a .228 hitting percentage and held Mount Saint Mary's to a -.032 hitting percentage.
