ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. (9/8/19) - The Kean University men's soccer team dropped a non-conference contest to St. Mary's College of Maryland, 2-0, at the Seahawk Classic on Sunday afternoon.
Khalid Balogun and Isaac Ekobo scored for the Seahawks who improve to 4-0 overall. Danny Guillen tallied three shots for the Cougars who fall to 3-2 overall.
Despite the loss, Kean edged St. Mary's on shots (15-9) and were even on corners (3-3). The Cougars were called for 22 fouls and had two cards issued.
Patryk Kowal, Max Acosta, Dylan Evande and Jake Santos all took two shots apiece, while Alex Nicol, Matthew Almeida, Calvin Carbajal and Fanor Arango all recorded one shot apiece.
Head Coach Peter-John Falloon and the Cougars will return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 11th, hosting the Hawks of Hunter College at 3:00 p.m.
