UNION, N.J. (1/8/20) - A late first half run propelled Stockton University to a 92-56 victory over the Kean University men's basketball team in a New Jersey Athletic Conference contest on Wednesday evening.
Jordan Taylor finished with a game-high 25 points for the Ospreys who improve to 9-4 overall and 6-0 in the NJAC.
Jared Latane totaled 18 points for the Cougars who fall to 4-9 overall and 1-5 in the NJAC.
After being tied at 9-9 over the opening five minutes, Stockton closed out the first half on a 33-21 run and knocked down eight triples to take a 42-28 in the halftime.
The second half saw the undefeated Ospreys continue to pour it on from long distance as the lead ballooned to 30 points with 13:44 remaining. The deficit grew to the largest of the game at 36 before the final buzzer sounded.
Kendall Blount finished with nine points and two rebounds, while
Myles Owens scored eight points.
