Mike Perone Jr. is a five year member of the program.  In 61 games he batted .267 with 42 runs scored and two homeruns.  In addition he drove 31 while collecting nine doubles and four triples.  Perone walked 17 times and stole 16 bases and was named to the NJAC Second-Team in 2019.  Off the field he is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma honor society and he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance with a minor in economics. 

Head coach Neil Ioviero – "I would call Mike the backbone of our team. He has persevered through injuries in his career and has developed into the player that we thought he would be before his injury. He is like a second coach on the field and he has a toughness about him that the entire team feeds off of as well as being a great student. Tremendous competitor."

Frank LoGiudice has been with the team for four seasons as a four year starter.  In 123 games played he is batting .356 with 73 RBI.  He has crossed the plate 78 times while also collecting 21 doubles and two triples.  In 213 chances he has committed just two errors for a .991 fielding percentage.  On the mound he has collected a 9-4 record with one save in over 109 innings pitched.  Sporting a 3.28 ERA he has struck out 66.  LoGiudice has been selected All-NJAC every season thus far, first as NJAC Rookie of the Year and twice on the first-team.  In addition, he was selected ABCA and D3baseball.com All-Region in 2019.

Head coach Neil Ioviero – "We have watched Frank grow and develop each and every year to become one of the best players in the league whether it is pitching or hitting. He was a preseason All-American and he has a tremendous attitude and passion for the game. His happy-go-lucky attitude really keeps the team loose and confident especially in pressure situations."

Derek Walker is a four year member of the team.  In 112 games he batted .264 with 58 runs scored.  He drove in 34 while also walking 33 times.  Walker has 20 stolen bases and 25 sac bunts to his credit.  He earned All-NJAC honors in his junior campaign.

Head coach Neil Ioviero – "From day one, Derek has moved positions and is very versatile. He does whatever he is asked to do because he knows he's very valuable to the team in whatever role that he is put in. He's the consummate student and he is a great player who has led by example. He is a tremendous worker and we can't ask for more than he has given us because he has given everything."

Steve Santigate has been with the program for five years.  In that time he has played in 86 games with 26 runs scored, 13 doubles and four homeruns.  In addition he has driven in 30 and walked 20 times. 

Head coach Neil Ioviero – "Steve was in his fifth year and we were looking for him to have a very big year before the season was halted. He is a great teammate who also has passion for the game. He is a great kid to have around on or off the field. Steve is very smart on the field and knows exactly what we are asking of him in pressure situations."

Chris Vetter is a four year member of the baseball program.  This catcher appeared in 61 games while batting .298 with 26 runs scored and 16 RBI.  In 294 chances he committed just three errors, good for a .990 fielding percentage.  Off the field he was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma honor society.

Head coach Neil Ioviero – "Chris is one of the most selfless individuals I have ever been around. He will excel in any role that you put him in. He's the consummate team player and his teammates have great respect for him. Whatever he does, he does it to the best of his ability and will figure out how to get the job done. One of the best I have ever coached."

Kevin Stewart was in his first season with the Cougars as a graduate student upon transferring.  In his short time with Kean he compiled a 3-0 record in three starts with a 1.89 ERA.  Opposing hitters were batting just .179 against him and he struck out 23 in 19 innings pitched.

Head coach Neil Ioviero – "Kevin transferred in for his final year of eligibility and he is nothing but a pleasure to work with.  He gave us everything he had each and every day and really took to our team. He was off to a great start this year before the season was cut shot. He is a big-time competitor on the mound and a very good team player."

Nick Polizzano has been a part of the baseball program for four seasons.  In that time he has batted .287 with 35 doubles, two homeruns and 76 RBI.  In addition he has crossed the plate 70 times and walked 61 times. 

Head coach Neil Ioviero – "Nick has been a starter for us since his freshman year. He's a very smart baseball player who understands exactly what the coaching staff is asking him to do when he is out there.  He is also very conscientious of the needs of his teammates and coaches. Nick is selfless and has always offered good advice whether it has been to his coaches or to his teammates."

Justin Hernandez is a four year member of the team.  The righty pitcher has accumulated a 9-5 record with two saves.  In 98 innings pitched he has fanned 70 and allowed just one homerun. 

Head coach Neil Ioviero – "Justin has been in very big spots for us from his freshman year on. He is a tremendous competitor a very good student who will become an excellent athletic trainer at some point when his academic career is finished. He is a great teammate and is always trying to help whoever he can on or off the field."

Frank Dente IV is a five year member of the program.  He endured multiple years of injuries but in his time with Kean appeared on the mound 12 times compiling a 1-1 record with two saves and 18 strikeouts.

Head coach Neil Ioviero – "Frank has had to battle many obstacles throughout his career with injuries and no matter what he has had thrown his way he just keeps bouncing back. He has tremendous perseverance and passion to play. He has a true love for the game. I believe these experiences will help him succeed throughout his entire life."

Tyler Hopman is a five year member of the program.  The workhorse on the mound who has the ability to throw with both his right and left arm appeared in 57 games with 38 starts and 15 complete games to his credit.  He recorded 18 wins and five saves while throwing 297 innings of work.  He faced 1,294 batters and has 179 strikeouts.
