UNION, N.J. (10/27/21) – Sadeiki Roberts notched two goals as the Kean University men's soccer team blanked Ramapo College, 2-0 in their New Jersey Athletic Conference regular season finale on Senior Night.
Erick Chicas scored for the Cougars who finish the regular season at 11-4-1 overall and 6-3 in the NJAC.
Joshua Schaffer made eight saves for the Roadrunners who finish the regular season at 8-8-1 overall and 2-6-1 in the NJAC.
Roberts tallied his first goal in the 38
th minute as he flicked a blocked initial shot past the keeper for the 1-0 lead. The sophomore increased the lead to 2-0 in the 53
rd minute as a saved ball squeaked out of the keeper's possession and rolled on the line for the score.
Chicas tallied the final goal of the evening in the 73
rd minute when
David Garcia played a through ball to the junior who beat the keeper one-on-one.
Roberts and
Matt O'Shea both tallied six shots apiece.
Dominic Ridge made four saves in 90 minutes of work.
