th minute to lift the #5 Kean University field hockey team to a 1-0 overtime victory over Gwynedd-Mercy University on Senior Day.
Peyton Mann assisted on the game-winner for the Cougars who improve to 17-1 overall.
Morgan Lawless made six saves for the Griffins who fall to 5-13 overall.
Kean led 22-0 on shots in regulation, but couldn't convert in the first four quarter's
In the extra session, Mann whacked a ball towards the cage, which Jackson tipped in for the game-winner.
The Cougars dominated on shots (25-2), shots on goal (12-1) and penalty corners (19-1).
Megan Keeney and
Jordan Thompson both tallied five shots apiece.
Jenna Flemings made one save in 65 minutes of work.
