GLASSBORO, N.J. (10/9/21) - A goal in the 41st minute downed the #3 Kean University field hockey team in their New Jersey Athletic Conference contest against #12 Rowan University, 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Krystyna Hovell scored the game-winner for the Profs who improve to 8-2 overall and 3-0 in the NJAC.
Jordan Thompson totaled two shots for the Cougars who fall to 13-1 overall and 1-1 in the NJAC.
Rowan edged Kean on shots (19-6), shots on goal (10-3) and corners (11-4).

Peyton Mann all tallied one shot apiece.
Jenna Flemings made seven saves in 60 minutes of work.
The loss snaps the Cougars 18 game winning streak.
