MADISON, N.J. (10/9/21) – Four Cougars posted double-digit kills as the Kean University women's volleyball team swept a tri-match with Saint Elizabeth University and FDU-Florham hosted by FDU on Saturday afternoon.
Kean 3, SEU 0
The Cougars (8-9) hit a staggering .607 percentage in their straight-sets sweep of the Eagles (1-9).
Ashley Smith totaled nine kills and six digs, while
Anne Beckemeyer tallied eight kills and three blocks.
Julia Vacca posted seven kills, while
Taylor Micheaux tallied seven aces.
Gwen Hangey finished with 30 assists, five aces, and two blocks, while
Sian Seeger collected five aces and two digs.
Kean totaled 37 kills and three errors on 56 swings. SEU finished with 10 kills and 16 errors on 51 swings for a -.118 hitting percentage.

The Cougars (9-9) hit .407 with just four errors in their straight-sets sweep of the host Devils (10-9).
Morgan Hall totaled 10 kills and five blocks, while Micheaux finished with nine kills and two blocks.
Kylie Brua handed out 31 assists, while
Amanda DeLio collected 21 digs.
FDU totaled 23 kills and 20 errors on 110 swings for a .027 hitting percentage.
