PITMAN, N.J. (11/3/21) – The Kean University men's soccer team had six Cougars selected to the New Jersey Athletic Conference All-Conference teams.
Raonne Dias earned a first team selection, while
Nikolaos Theoudoulidis,
Bend Alexandre and
Shaq Bryan were all selected to the second team.
Danny Guillen and
Dominic Ridge were both named to the honorable mention.
Dias earns his first All-Conference selection after totaling 11 points on four goals and three assists over eight conference games. The junior led the Cougars in goals, assists, and points while ranking fifth in both points and assists among conference-only stats.
Theoudoulidis earns his first All-Conference selection after totaling nine points on four goals and one assist over nine conference games. The freshman ranked second on the team in goals, assists and points, while ranking third in game-winning goals among conference-only stats. The rookie was also named NJAC Rookie of the Week during the season.
Alexandre earns his first All-Conference selection after totaling 724 minutes on the Cougars defense and holding opponents to a .125 shot percentage over eight conference games.
Bryan earns his first All-Conference selection after totaling 637 minutes on the Cougars backline and holding opponents to a .125 shot percentage and just 44 shots on goal over nine conference games.
Guillen earns his first All-Conference selection after totaling 564 minutes on the Cougars defense and holding opponents to a .125 shot percentage over eight conference games. The fifth year senior also totaled one point on one assist.
Ridge earns his first All-Conference selection after totaling 32 saves for a .727 save percentage and a 1.31 goals-against average over nine conference starts in goal. The freshman posted a 6-3 record in 822 minutes logged, while being named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week. The rookie ranked in shutouts per game (5th), Goals Against Average (6th), Save Per Game (7
th) and Saves (9
th) among conference-only stats.
