UNION, N.J. (3/23/21) – Jorja Hibschman notched her second game-winner of the season to keep the Kean University field hockey team unbeaten with a 1-0 decision over Stockton on Tuesday evening.
Hibschman totaled three shots for the Cougars who remain unbeaten at 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
Kylie Mitchell made 11 saves for the Ospreys who fall to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the NJAC.
Hibschman's goal came in the third minute as the freshman dribbled through traffic and fired it past the keeper on the left side for the lone goal of the evening.
Ja'Carra Jackson,
Lia DiPiazza, and
Peyton Mann all tallied three shots apiece. In goal,
Belly Reynoso made four saves and improves to 4-0.
Kean edged Stockton on shots (18-4), shots on goal (14-4) and penalty corners (9-1).
