UNION, N.J. (4/22/21) – The Kean University men's lacrosse team set a single game program record for the largest margin of victory in the 25-1 victory over Cairn University on Thursday evening.
Justin Regester totaled five points on four goals and one assist for the Cougars who improve to 6-1 overall.
Jonathan Balsamo scored the lone goal for the Highlanders who fall to 0-2 overall.
21 different Cougars recorded a point as Kean started the game with 23 unanswered goals, including 14 in the first half alone.
Anthony Leone and
Andrew Richardson both tallied four points on three goals and one assist.
Dean Gillette posted three points on three assists, while
Trevor Foss totaled three points on two assists and one goal.

Anthony Azara,
Cormac McCabe,
Bryce Berger,
Noah Costanzo,
Danny Bill, and
Dante Magliano all recorded two points apiece.
On faceoffs,
Dylan Pelago went 16-for-21 with 10 groundballs, while
Nicholas Moffa finished 6-for-6 with six groundballs.
On defense, McCabe totaled six groundballs, while
Michael Shapiro tallied five groundballs and two caused turnovers.
In Goal,
Michael Yukas and
Devin Reppert combined for two saves in 60 minutes.
