WAYNE, N.J. (10/28/22) -  Peyton Mann tallied the game-winner in the eighth minute to vault the #11 Kean University field hockey team to a 1-0 New Jersey Athletic Conference victory over William Paterson University in Friday evening's regular season finale.

Laura Stump assisted on the game-winner for the Cougars who finish their regular season at 14-3 overall and 4-2 in the NJAC. Kourtney Hartzel made 14 saves for the Pioneers who finish their season at 3-9 overall and 1-5 in the NJAC.

The senior played a side pass from Stump and scored in the right corner for the lone goal of the game.

Kean dominated on shots (27-5), shots on goal (15-2) and penalty corners (13-3). Mann posted 11 shots, while Jorja Hibschman notched six. Jenna Flemings made one save in 60 minutes of work.

Head Coach Leslie LaFronz and the Cougars will return to action in the NJAC Tournament next week
