Brooklyn, N.Y. (10/8/22) – The Kean University women's tennis team picked up a 7-2 win over Brooklyn College in their season opener on Saturday.
The Cougars (1-0) dropped only one match in singles action as
Samantha Paine Luu,
Bianca Ortega,
Maria Jaramillo,
Selina Maisonett, and
Sarah Girod all picked up victories.
After falling in first doubles, Ortega/
Lex Quintanilla and Maisonett/Girod both recorded victories at second and third doubles.
The Cougars will be back in action on Tues, Oct. 18th when they host John Jay.
