UNION, N.J. (12/13/22) – Four Players scored in double-figures as the Kean University men's basketball team extended its unbeaten streak to 11 games with a 96-62 non-conference victory over Albertus Magnus College on Tuesday afternoon.
Griffin Barker totaled 30 points and 14 rebounds for the Cougars who improve to 11-0 overall. Jacqual Gertrude tallied 14 points for the Falcons who fall to 2-6 overall.

Jailen Jamison combined for 33 first half points as Kean shot 57.7% from the floor and 45.5 from downtown for a 43-26 halftime advantage. After trading buckets early, the Cougars used a 13-2 run to push their lead to double-digits at 22-12 with 6:44 remaining. Magnus countered with an 11-5 run to cut the Cougars lead down to 26-23 with 4:47 remaining. Kean closed the half on a 17-5 run behind a combined 17 points from Daniels and Jamison.
The second half was more of the same as the Cougars continued their hot shooting with a 47.1% from the floor and 56.3% from downtown. That hot shooting helped Kean maintain their double-digit advantage and extend it to 30 before the final buzzer.
Daniels finished with 21 points, Jamison collected 13 points, three rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals.
Letrell West totaled nine points, seven rebounds and four assists, while
Vaughn Laki Anderson notched 10.
Heem Burno dished out nine assists in the victory.
