Madison, N.J. (12/30/22) – The Kean University women's basketball team dropped their last non-conference game of the season by the final of 61-46 at Drew University on Friday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Both teams got off to a slow start in the first 10 minutes of play coming off the holiday break. The Cougars (5-7) then rebounded in the second stanza and outscored the Rangers (11-1) 18-13 and pulled within two before the break.
Drew scored over 20 points in the third quarter to push out to a double-digit lead and used that advantage to pull away with the win, their seventh straight.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Brittany Graff led the Cougars with 11 points playing all 40 minutes. Macy Seaman had good all-around numbers with nine points, 12 rebounds and seven blocks.
