JERSEY CITY, N.J. (2/20/22) – Rajheem Meulens and
Duncan Beilke combined for 24 kills as the Kean University men's volleyball team split a tri-match with Brooklyn College and New Jersey City University on Sunday.

D'Andrei Williams and
Ryan DiCandilo combined for 18 kills as the Cougars (8-4) dominated a straight sets sweep of the Bulldogs (3-6). Kean finished with 36 kills on 72 swings and just 10 errors, while Brooklyn recorded 19 kills on 69 swings and 17 errors. The Cougars posted a .361 hitting percentage, while holding the Bulldogs to a .029 hitting percentage.
Luke Frankenfield finished with 23 assists and five kills, while Meulens posted five kills.
Stephen Reynolds totaled seven digs and three kills, while
Dan St. Foi tallied two kills and
Jack Arias finished with four digs, four aces and one kill.
NJCU 3, Kean 0
Beilke totaled 12 kills as the Cougars (8-5) dropped a non-conference match to the Gothic Knights (7-4). Jersey City finished with 29 kills on 82 swings and 12 errors, while Kean totaled 31 kills on 88 swings and 28 errors. NJCU tallied .207 hitting percentage and the Cougars was held to a .034 hitting percentage.
Meulens finished with seven kills, while
Quincy Rooi totaled six digs and four kills. Molina recorded 11 digs and three kills, while
Maxwell Thompson posted three kills.
Zach Noll handed out 24 assists.
