Madison, N.J. (3/23/22) – Host FDU-Florham defeated the Kean University women's lacrosse team by the final of 21-11 on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action.

Graduate student Katie Pileggi led the Cougars (3-3) with four goals and nine draw controls. 

After falling behind early the Cougars clawed to within one goal (5-4) to start the second quarter as Lauren Pluta netted her second goal of the season.  But that would be as close as Kean would get as the Devils (4-1) scored the next four to pull out to a comfortable lead.

Emily Bretschneider caused three turnovers and collected five draw controls while Kylie Giordano netted two goals.

Kean returns to action on Saturday when they host Farmingdale State at 1 p.m.
