Union, N.J. (3/26/22) – The Kean University women's lacrosse team exploded for 10 first half goals on their way to defeating visiting Farmingdale State College, 16-3, on Saturday afternoon.
Sarah Wagner netted the first two goals of the game as Kean jumped out to an early 5-0 lead. During the contest the Cougars (4-3) had a stretch of eight consecutive goals to power to the win.
Wagner finished with seven points (three goals and four assists) while Amanda Ehrhart added three goals and two assists. Amanda Brzoska and Kylie Giordano each had three goals while defensively Katie Pileggi had four groundballs, three caused turnovers and 10 draw controls. She added two goals and an assist.
Sydney Koch collected five saves in her first start of the season.
Kean travels to the University of Scranton on Wednesday.
