UNION, N.J. (3/26/22) – Connor Batjer notched a second half hat-trick as the Kean University men's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference contest to #18 Stevenson University on Saturday evening.
Shane Ford totaled nine points on six assists and three goals for the Mustangs who improve to 4-3 overall.
Thomas Francy made 16 saves for the Cougars who fall to 4-2 overall.
Stevenson tallied 14 unanswered before Batjer notched his first goal of the evening with 13:08 left in the third.
Anthony Porter assisted on three of the four second-half goals, including two for Batjer and one for
Justin Arredondo
Matt Palmieri totaled four groundballs and two caused turnovers.
Kyle Ryder and
Drew Campenella each collected three groundballs apiece.
Joseph McNulty,
Hunter Jenkinson,
Cormac McCabe and
Dante Magliano all totaled two groundballs apiece.
Along with Francy,
Devin Reppert,
Michael Yukas and
Femi Fadipe all saw action in goal.
