UNION, N.J. (3/7/22) – Brady Moore and 
Connor Batjer combined for 14 points on 10 goals and four assists as the Kean University men's lacrosse team remained unbeaten in a 16-12 victory over Emmanuel College (Mass.) on Monday evening.
Moore totaled seven points on six goals and one assist for the Cougars who improve to 2-0 overall. 
Ryan Castle finished with five points on four goals and one assist for the Saints who fall to 1-2 overall.
Kean jumped out to a 7-2 advantage on hat-tricks from both Moore and Batjer. Emmanuel answered with a 6-2 run, including four goals from Castle to even the contest at 9-9 with 5:39 remaining in the third. After trading goals, the Saints opened the fourth with a goal in the opening two minutes to take an 11-10 lead.
The Cougars pulled away in the fourth with five straight goals, including two from Moore and one apiece from 
Dante Magliano, Batjer, 
Tommy Pellegrino and 
Kyle Ryder.
Batjer totaled seven points on four goals and three assists, while 
Anthony Porter tallied three assists.
At faceoffs, 
Nicholas Moffa went 22-for-30 with 11 groundballs.
On defense, 
Joseph McNulty totaled 10 groundballs, while Porter added six groundballs and one caused turnovers. 
Vinny Campbell finished with three groundballs and three caused turnovers.
Michael Yukas and 
Devin Reppert combined for 11 saves, four groundballs and one caused turnover.
