DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (3/9/22) – Six Cougars notched two goals apiece as the Kean University men's lacrosse team dispatched Delaware Valley University, 16-3 in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday evening.
Nick Moffa,
Connor Batjer,
Nick Thorne,
Brady Moore,
Kyle Ryder and
Dante Magliano all tallied two goals apiece for the Cougars who improve to 3-0 overall.
Brett Ziegler scored two goals for the Aggies who fall to 1-4 overall.
Thorne scored two goals and assisted on another as the Cougars held a commanding 8-3 lead at halftime. Thorne collected both goals as Kean opened the contest on a 5-1 run.
Kean poured it on in the second half with Ryder scoring two goals and assisting on another as the Cougars closed the game with an 8-0 run.
Moffa, Ryder, Moore, and Thorne all tallied three points on two goals and one assist. Batjer and Magliano each collected two points on two goals.

Anthony Porter,
Christian Schlaefer, and
Cormac McCabe each tallied a point.
At faceoff, Moffa went 14-for-22 with 11 groundballs. Ryder added six groundballs and two caused turnovers.
Steven Thorne and Moore both collected three groundballs apiece.
In goal,
Michael Yukas made 12 saves and earned the decision.
