NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (3/8/22) – Jenn Majorczak went 4-for-8 with two triples, two runs scored, two stolen bases and one RBI over two games as the Kean University softball team swept a doubleheader with PSU-Abington and Wilkes University at the Fastpitch Dreams Classic on Tuesday.

Gabriella Fredette went 2-for-3 with a run scored, while
Paige Metz and
Karly Messina each tallied a hit and an RBI.
Heather Clevenger improved to 3-0 in the circle after striking out four batters and holding Penn State to just three hits on the afternoon.
Kean got on the scoreboard in the second when Messina hit an RBI double to score Fredette. Metz added another run in the fifth when the senior hit a single through the right side that drove in
Gianna Pickens.
Kean 6, Wilkes 3
Majorczak finished 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI, while
Eliza Filus, Messina and
Melody Caces each went 2-for-4.
The Cougars notched four runs in the first five innings, as Messina knocked in three runs and Fredette added another. After Wilkes finally got on the scoreboard in the fifth, Kean scored two more runs in the sixth with back-to-back RBI triples from Majorczak and Filus.
The Colonels would get two runs back in the seventh on back-to-back RBI's.
Annabella Marino struck out seven batters in a complete game victory.
