GALLOWAY, N.J. (4/13/22) – Thomas Francy recorded 16 saves, including notching his 400th career save as the Kean University men's lacrosse team dropped a Colonial States Athletic Conference contest to Stockton University, 14-13 on Wednesday evening.

The Ospreys attempted to pull away with three straight goals in the final 5:24 of the first half for a 7-4 advantage. Pellegrino answered with a goal in the final 10 seconds and Kean trailed 7-5 at halftime.

In the second half, Pellegrino opened the scoring with his second goal of the game which pulled the Cougars within one at 7-6. Stockton would pump in four straight to increase their lead back to 11-6 with 6:50 remaining in the third. Moore scored twice and Kyle Ryder scored once over the final two minutes of the third as Kean trailed 12-10 entering the fourth.

In the fourth, Kean continued to trade goals as the Cougars couldn't find the equalizer. Moore and Anthony Porter each tallied a goal in the fourth which cut the deficit to one but that would be the closest they would get.
