HUNTINGDON, Pa. (4/5/22) – Rajheem Meulens totaled five kills and three digs as the sixth seeded Kean University men's volleyball team bowed out of the Continental Volleyball Conference Tournament with a 3-0 straight sets sweep to third seeded Juniata College on Tuesday evening.
Will Phelan and
Tyler Goldsborough each tallied eight kills apiece for the Eagles who improve to 26-5 overall and advance to Friday's semifinal against second seed Southern Virginia.
Duncan Beilke totaled four kills for the Cougars who finish their season at 16-11 overall.
Juniata posted a .338 hitting percentage for the match, while holding Kean to a -.026 percentage.
Luke Frankenfield and
Ryan DiCandilo each totaled three kills apiece, while
Maxwell Thompson,
Quincy Rooi and
Kevin Molina all notched two kills apiece.
Molina and
Cris Naranjo combined for five digs apiece, while
Zach Noll handed out 16 assists.
