UNION, N.J. (4/9/22) - The Kean University men's lacrosse program established a new team single-game record for goals in a 31-7 decision over Rosemont College on Saturday afternoon.
Brady Moore led all scorers with five goals for the Cougars who improve to 7-3 overall and 1-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Mason Dennis and Navarro Blakes both tallied three points apiece for the Ravens who fall to 6-7 overall and 0-1 in the CSAC.

Moore notched a hat-trick and
Cormac McCabe scored twice as Kean opened with 12 straight goals. The Cougars continued to pepper shots and increased their lead to 18-2 at halftime. The second half was more of the same as Kean hit the 30 mark early in the fourth quarter.
26 different players scored at least one point apiece, while 22 notched at least one goal apiece. Kean tallied 78 shots, including 56 on goal, and collected 72 groundballs. Moore was joined by
Dante Magliano,
Christian Schlaefer, McCabe, and
Anton Updale with multiple goals on the afternoon.
Connor Batjer notched five assists in the victory.
At faceoffs,
Daniel Gilligan,
Vinny Campbell, and
Christian Baucom went a combined 28-for-41 with nine groundballs. On the turf,
Joey McNulty collected eight groundballs, while
Kyle Ryder and
Steven Thorne collected five apiece. On defense, Thorne notched five caused turnovers and
Thomas Francy tallied two.
Francy,
Devin Reppert,
Femi Fadipe, and
Michael Yukas combined for seven saves over 60 minutes of work. Fadipe made five saves in nearly 10 minutes logged during the fourth quarter.
