UNION, N.J. (9/30/22) –
Morgan Hall finished with 11 kills, five aces and four block assists as the Kean University women's volleyball team swept FDU-Florham, 3-0 in straight sets on Friday afternoon.
Taylor Micheaux and
Anne Beckemeyer both tallied eight kills apiece for the Cougars who improve to 9-7 overall. Jada Everett and Adrienne DeFuria both recorded eight kills apiece for the Devils who fall to 3-6 overall.
Kean rolled to a 25-11 set one victory behind a .448 hitting percentage. Hall and Beckemeyer
combined for 10 kills and no errors on 15 swings. The Cougars broke the set open as Hall served for six straight points and collected four aces in the process.
Beckemeyer added another five kills, while
Aubre Adams posted four in the 25-18 set two victory. Kean opened on a 7-2 run and eventually pushed their lead to 14-6 after three straight kills. The Cougars held FDU to a .051 hitting percentage.
The Cougars struggled in set three despite Micheaux posting six kills and
Ashley Smith tallying three. The Devils held a 22-21 advantage late, before Kean closed out the match with a 4-1 run.
Adams totaled seven kills, while Smith posted six.
Aspen O'Brien and
Kylie Brua combined for 28 assists. On defense,
Sian Seeger totaled 20 digs, while Smith collected 12.

th, against the Dolphins of the College of Mount Saint Vincent at 7:00 p.m.
