JERSEY CITY, N.J. (1/28/23) – Four players scored in double figures as the Kean University men's basketball team earned an 84-74 victory over New Jersey City University on Saturday afternoon.
Letrell West notched 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Cougars who improve to 15-5 overall and 8-5 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Will Brown III totaled 14 points and five rebounds for the Gothic Knights who fall to 9-11 overall and 4-9 in the NJAC.
First Half
- Kean led 39-33 at halftime
- Kean shot 53.5% from the floor compared to 43.8% for NJCU.
- Heem Burno led all scorers with 12 points on 6-for-8 shooting in 16 minutes.

- NJCU opened with a 13-6 run to take a 46-45 lead.
- The Cougars closed the contest on a 19-11 run.
