EWING, N.J. (10/7/23) – Morgan Stump scored as the #11 Kean University field hockey team (7-3, 1-1 NJAC) dropped a New Jersey Athletic Conference contest to #19 The College of New Jersey, 2-1 (8-3, 2-0 NJAC) on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!

• Kean struck first as Stump blasted the Cougars to a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute off a Peyton Mann insert.
• TCNJ evened the game at the half with a Rayhanah Ahmed penalty stroke goal in the 20^th minute.
• Ahmed assisted on the eventual game-winner in the 41^st minute, finding Bella DiNardo.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Jorja Hibschman totaled four shots.
• Stump and Kelsey Corbett both tallied three shots apiece.
• Jenna Flemings made five saves.
• Kean led on shots (15-14) and shots on goal (9-7).
