Camden, N.J. (12/13/23) – The Kean University women's basketball team improved to 4-2 in conference play with a 93-65 win over host Rutgers-Camden on Wednesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

In the last NJAC matchup in the 2023 calendar year, the Cougars (6-5) never trailed in the contest.

Kean quickly built up a double-digit lead in the first quarter, leading by as many as 12.

Brittany Graff provided 14 points in the first 20 minutes while Gigi Gamble added 11 points and three steals.

The Cougars then led a balanced attack after the intermission as 10 players saw action in the contest.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Graff finished with a career-high 26 points while recording six assists.  Gamble registered 20 points, five steals and four assists while Riley Ahrens finished with a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Macy Seaman and Maya Edwards rounded out the double-digit scorers with 12 and 10 points respectively.
