MORRISTOWN, N.J. (2/13/23) – Stephen Reynolds totaled nine kills and a .571 hitting percentage as the Kean University men's volleyball team extended their winning streak to five matches with a 3-0 straight sets sweep of Saint Elizabeth University on Monday evening.
Chris Mitchell notched eight kills for the Cougars who improve to 5-3 overall. Frank Rossi Jr. tallied nine kills for the Eagles who fall to 2-2 overall.
First Set
- The Cougars won, 25-14.
- Kean hit .238 compared to a -.158 percentage for SEU.
- The Cougars opened on a 9-2 run, behind kills from Mitchell, Reynolds, and Jack Freese.
- Kean extended their lead to 18-8, behind a kill and an ace from Aidan Flinn.
