UNION, N.J. (2/18/23) – The Kean University men's volleyball team swept a tri-match with the College of Mount Saint Vincent and Misericordia University on Saturday.
Kean 3 (6-4), CMSV 0 (3-4)
- Kean swept CMSV in straight sets (25-7, 25-14, 25-20) for the second time in a week.
- The Cougars tallied 34 kills and nine errors on 64 swings.
- Kean posted a .391 hitting percentage.
- CMSV tallied a .016 hitting percentage.
- The Cougars hit over .200 for the match.
- The Dolphins hit negative in the opening two sets, before posting a positive .471 in the final set.
- Chris Mitchell led the match with 11 kills and .647 hitting percentage.
- Rajheem Meulens totaled nine kills and eight digs.
- Andrew DuHaime notched seven assists, six digs and four kills.
- Brandon Millias handed out 18 assists.
- Kevin Erhand and James Rose combined for 12 kills.
Kean 3 (7-4), Misericordia 0 (6-13)
- Kean swept Misericordia in straight sets (25-19, 25-22, 25-22).
- The Cougars tallied 37 kills and 12 errors on 91 swings.
- Misericordia totaled 35 kills and 23 errors on 103 swings.
- Kean posted a .275 hitting percentage.
- MU was held to a .117 hitting percentage.
- The Cougars hit over .200 for the match
- Misericordia hit below .200 for the match.
- Mitchell tallied nine kills and a .444 hitting percentage.
- Stephen Reynolds totaled nine kills and a .300 hitting percentage.
- Luke Frankenfield totaled 15 assists, 10 digs and eight kills.
