MADISON, N.J. (2/25/23) – Chris Mitchell totaled 25 kills and a .352 hitting percentage over two matches as the Kean University men's volleyball team sweep a tri-match with Drew University and Cairn University on Saturday.

Kean 3 (8-5), Drew 0 (6-9)

• Kean swept Drew in straight sets (25-17, 25-23, 25-15) for a second time this month.
• The Cougars tallied 39 kills and 12 errors on 107 swings.
• Kean posted a .252 hitting percentage.
• The Rangers were held to a .127 hitting percentage.
• The Cougars notched hitting percentages over .340 in sets one and three.
• Kean hit .102 in the middle set, despite posting more errors.
• Drew only hit above .100 in the final set.
• Mitchell totaled 12 kills and posted a .308 hitting percentage.
• Luke Frankenfield tallied a triple-double with 15 assists, 11 kills and 10 digs.
• Rajheem Meulens totaled 11 digs, five kills and four aces.
• David Flores handed out 14 assists.
• Cris Naranjo collected 13 digs.
• Jacob Sledz and Ephraim Smith both totaled nine kills apiece for the Rangers.

Kean 3, (9-5), Cairn 0 (4-6)

• Kean defeated Cairn in straight sets (25-21, 25-21, 25-15).
• The Cougars tallied 42 kills and 12 errors on 107 swings.
• Kean posted a .280 hitting percentage.
• The Highlanders were held to a .161 hitting percentage.
• The Cougars hit above .225 in each set.
• Cairn hit below .200 in sets one and three, while hitting above .200 in the middle set.
• Mitchell totaled 13 kills and seven digs.
• Stephen Reynolds and Meulens both notched seven kills apiece.
• Frankenfield totaled 30 assists, six digs, six kills and three aces.
• Naranjo collected 14 digs.
• Joshua Hoagland totaled eight kills for the Highlanders.
