Union, N.J. (3/11/23) – The Kean University men's lacrosse team cruised to a home win on Saturday by defeating Anna Maria College, 22-5.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Cougars (4-0) used a balanced scoring attack to jump out to a 7-0 lead after the first quarter.
Leading 10-0, the Amcats (1-5) scratched across a goal to break up the shutout.
Kean used every available player in the contest as 13 different players scored and four more different players added helpers.
Four different keepers saw action in the game for Kean, with all recording at least one save.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Connor Batjer and Dylan Johnson each led with a game-high three goals, while adding two and one assist respectively. Anthony Porter had a game-high four assists along with his two goals to have a game-high six points on the afternoon.
Hank Gittines led Anna Maria with three of their five goals.
