Union, N.J. (3/15/23) – The Kean University women's lacrosse team picked up an 11-3 win over St. Josephs' Long Island in non-conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Kean (1-3) hustled out to a 5-0 lead after one quarter, with two goals from Kylie Giordano to open up the game's scoring.

The Cougars extended the lead to 9-0 before St. Joseph's erased the shutout with a goal just before the intermission.

Both teams netted two goals each in the third quarter before the game was forfeited by St. Joseph's with 3:39 to go in the period.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Giordano finished with five goals and one assist while Amanda Brzoska added seven draw controls and two goals.
