Union, N.J. (4/11/23) – The Kean University Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the 2023 induction class of the Eta Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma.
Kean is adding 39 members with its 16th class of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.
Chi Alpha Sigma is the first, and only, national scholar-athlete society to honor collegiate student-athletes who have excelled in both the classroom and in athletic competition.
Chi Alpha Sigma recognizes college student-athletes who participate in a sport at the varsity intercollegiate level, achieve junior academic standing or higher after their fifth full time semester, have been at Kean University for at least two semesters, and earn a 3.4 or higher cumulative grade point average.
The induction ceremony took place in conjunction with NCAA Division III Week on Tuesday, April 11th and was held in between games of the softball doubleheader at Cougar Softball field.
