UNION, N.J. (4/29/23) – Kylie Giordano totaled four points on three goals and one assist as the Kean University women's lacrosse team dropped their New Jersey Athletic Conference regular-season finale to Stockton University, 14-7 on Senior Day.
Isabella Marinello
notched five points on four goals and one assist for the Ospreys who finish their regular season at 12-4 overall and 3-2 in the NJAC.
Shannon Palen recorded three points on two assists and one goal for the Cougars who finish their regular season at 4-11 overall and 2-3 in the NJAC.
First Half
- Kean trailed 3-1 late in the first quarter before three straight goals put the Cougars in front at 4-3 entering the second quarter.
- Giordano scored and assisted on a goal in the opening quarter.
- Stockton responded with four straight goals to take a 7-4 advantage into halftime.
Second Half
- Palen assisted on two goals in the third as Stockton scored four times for an 11-5 advantage.
- Giordano completed her hat-trick in the fourth with an unassisted goal.
Inside the Box
- Giordano collected seven draw controls.
- Rosalee Lachner finished with six draw controls, two goals, two groundballs and one caused turnover.
- Lauren Pluta totaled a goal, while Amanda Brzoska notched an assist.
- Nicole Peters made eight saves and collected four groundballs.
- Sam Murri totaled three groundballs and three caused turnovers.
- Jenn Koval posted two groundballs and two caused turnovers.

- Lachner and Pluta were honored by the coaching staff.
