LA PLUME, Pa. (10/29/24) – Shannon Conroy notched her sixth goal of the season as the Kean University field hockey team dropped a non-conference contest to Keystone College, 2-1 on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• The Cougars struck first as a Jazmyne Frack pass back allowed Conroy to blast it home in the sixth minute.
• The Giants evened the contest in the 11^th minute when a loose ball was tapped in by Jordan Vandermark.
• Keystone found the eventual game-winner after converting on a penalty stroke in the 21st minute.
• Daniella Maresca turned back a second penalty stroke attempt in the fourth.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Kean led on shots (15-10) and shots on goal (11-4).
• Keystone held the advantage in corners (6-4).
• Conroy recorded six shots.
• Madison Brege notched three shots.
