UNION, N.J. (10/3/24) – Alison Kowalewski and Cayley Elena Morrison combined for 21 kills as the Kean University women's volleyball team earned a 3-0 straight sets sweep of Rutgers-Camden in their New Jersey Athletic Conference home opener on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• Bella Stem and Morrison combined for eight kills as the Cougars hit .351 in a dominating set one victory.
• Kean trailed 8-7, before closing the set on an 18-6 run.
• In set two, Morrison and Kowalewski combined for 10 kills in the 25-20 victory.
• The junior outside recorded six kills and just one error on 10 swings.
• The Cougars opened on a 14-5 run and never looked back.
• In the final set, Aubre Adams paced Kean with five kills as the Cougars held as much as an eight-point advantage.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Aspen O'Brien finished with 36 assists and four aces.
• Kowalewski added nine digs and two aces.
• Annabelle Valencia collected 12 digs.
