Glenside, Pa. (11/23/24) – The Kean University women's basketball team suffered a 76-50 non-conference defeat to host Arcadia University on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Cougars led to start the contest but both teams got off to a slow start offensively in the first five minutes.
The Knights chipped away and took a lead they would not relinquish, but the Cougars kept things close in the first half.
Arcadia pushed their advantage out to double digits in the third quarter and cruised in the fourth quarter on their way to improving to 4-1 overall.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Riley Ahrens led Kean with a double-double 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Cara McCoy chipped in with 10 points and four assists.

Kean opens NJAC play on Tuesday when they travel to Stockton University.
