Nashville, Tenn. (12/29/24) – The Kean University women's basketball team dropped a 70-43 decision to Berea College on Sunday in the D3 Music City Classic.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Mountaineers (5-5) used a strong second quarter, while limiting the Cougars to just seven points in the span to take a 35-14 lead at the break.

Kean (4-6) benefiting from the free throw line after halftime, but couldn't overcome the first half deficit.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Cara McCoy had a team-high 10 points while Maya Edwards recorded 10 rebounds while adding six points.
