Glassboro, N.J. (2/3/24) – Tyler Spencer scored a game-high and career-high 25 points but it wasn't enough to overcome host Rowan University by the final of 96-60 on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Cougars (10-12, 7-8 NJAC) see-sawed early in the contest, but the Profs (17-5, 11-4 NJAC) turned a one point deficit into a seven point lead midway through the first half and never lost the lead again.
• Rowan held a 40-29 lead at the break.
• The Profs paced through the final 20 minutes, outscoring Kean, 56-31.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Spencer was 10-of-14 from the floor while adding four rebounds in 31 minutes of action.
• D.J. Alicea recorded seven points and seven rebounds in the loss.

Kean returns home for two contests next week and will host Rutgers-Camden on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
