Men’s Lacrosse Falls to RWU at UDel

NEWARK, Del. (3/13/24) – Connor Batjer finished with eight points on seven goals and one assist as the Kean University men's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference contest to Roger Williams University, 16-15 at the University of Delaware on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!
  • Dylan Johnson, Nick Thorne and Batjer each notched two goals apiece as Kean held a 7-5 advantage into the second quarter.
  • The Hawks responded with four straight goals to propel RWU to a 9-7 halftime advantage.
  • The Hawks extended their lead to 14-9, but Batjer tallied four goals in the quarter to keep the Cougars within striking distance at 15-12 entering the fourth.
  • In the fourth, an Anthony Porter goal and assist cut the deficit to one at 15-14.
  • Kean failed to find the equalizer in the final quarter.
