PURCHASE, N.Y. (3/20/24) – 20 Cougars tallied a point as the Kean University men's lacrosse team coasted to a 28-3 victory over Manhattanville College on Wednesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
- Jonathan Slusser scored twice as the Cougars notched seven goals in the opening quarter, including six straight to start.
- Kean exploded for 10 straight in the second, including five from Nick Thorne and three from Anton Updale.
- The second half was more of the same as the Cougars poured in 11 unanswered, including a hat-trick from Aaron Boccio and two goals apiece from both Thorne and Brian Novotny.
INSIDE THE BOX
- Thorne finished with eight points on seven goals and one assist.
- Dylan Johnson totaled six points on four assists and two goals.
- Aarin Arbore posted five points on two goals and three assists.
- Jacob Dvoor went 17-for-30 at the X with 10 groundballs.
- Greg Klepacki collected four groundballs.
- Tyler Scott and Tommy Egan both notched two caused turnovers apiece.
