Men’s Lacrosse Rolls to Victory over Emerson at Georgetown

WASHINGTON, D.C. (3/9/24) – Anthony Porter totaled nine points on four goals and five assists as the Kean University men's lacrosse team rolled to a 21-9 victory over Emerson College at Georgetown University's Cooper Field on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
  • Kean picked up from where they left off last game with 10 first-half goals, including four points apiece from both Porter and Connor Batjer.
  • The Cougars pushed their lead to double-digits entering the fourth behind a Nick Thorne hat-trick.
  • Porter added to his evening with three assists and a goal in the third alone.
  • In the fourth, despite the Lions scoring five times, Kean tallied goals by Dylan Johnson and Aarin Arbore, Ricky Iapoce, and Batjer.
INSIDE THE BOX
  • Batjer totaled six points on five goals and one assist.
  • Thorne posted five points on three goals and two assists.
  • Johnson notched three goals.
  • Jacob Dvoor and Christian Updale went a combined 29-for-34 at the X with 18 groundballs.
