Peters Notches 20 Saves in NJAC Loss to Montclair State

UNION, N.J. (4/10/24) – Nicole Peters notched 20 saves as the Kean University women's lacrosse team dropped a New Jersey Athletic Conference contest to Montclair State University, 12-9 on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

Sam Murri, Amanda Brzoska and Kylie Giordano all scored two goals apiece as the Cougars rallied from an early two goal deficit to take a 6-5 advantage into halftime.
Shannon Palen assisted on all second quarter goals as the Red Hawks outshot the Cougars, 25-10.
The second half saw Kean only score three times, including fourth quarter goals from Emilie Schultz and Lauren Pluta.

INSIDE THE BOX

Giordano, Brzoska, Palen all tallied three points apiece.
Giordano added nine draw controls.
Peters collected three groundballs.
Jenn Koval posted five groundballs and three caused turnovers.
