UNION, N.J. (4/13/24) – Dylan Johnson and
Tommy Hamtil both scored two goals apiece as the Kean University men's lacrosse team dropped a CLC contest to #8 Christopher Newport University, 17-9 in the annual Connor's Game for Autism awareness.
HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
- The Captains notched 13 first half goals, including six straight to start.
- Johnson tallied two second quarter goals, while Connor Batjer and Hamtil recorded lone goals in the opening stanza.
- The second half saw Hamtil score another along with goals from Christian Updale and Cormac McCabe.

CONNOR'S GAME
- "Connor's Game" is in honor of Connor Sgaramella, who is the son of Associate Athletic Director Jay Sgaramella and has been diagnosed with Autism. April is Autism Awareness Month and the Cougars would like to remind everyone that Autism is about love, hope, and acceptance.
- The game also served as a fundraiser for the Deron School, which Connor attends.
