UNION, N.J. (1/15/25) – Three players scored in double figures as the Kean University men's basketball team extended their winning streak to four games with a 80-56 victory over Rutgers-Newark on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• The opening stanza was a back-and-forth affair as neither side held larger than a six-point advantage.
• Trey Harts notched 11 points on 5-for-8 shooting in the first half.
• The Cougars opened the second half on a 14-3 run that pushed their lead to 46-31 with 12:39 remaining.
• Newark cut the lead to single digits, but never recovered as Kean extended their advantage to 20 points behind a 30-15 run.
• Justin Morton notched eight points down the stretch as the Cougars went 11-for-14 from the floor.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Harts finished with 20 points, five rebounds and three assists.
• Adam Silas notched 24 points, five rebounds and four assists.
