UNION, N.J. (1/18/25) – The Kean University men's volleyball team split matches with #13 Nichols and #4 Stevens on the second day of the Clash at Kean.

Kean 3, #13 Nichols 1

• The Cougars opened the afternoon knocking off #13 Nichols.
• Head Coach Bez Arslani notches his highest career ranked win since taking over the program in 2022.
• Aidan Flinn and Danny Pugliano combined for eight kills in a set one victory that saw 15 ties and six lead changes.
• After dropping set two, Kean hit .348 in a dominating set three victory.
• Chris Mitchell posted six kills as the Cougars hit .400 in a set four victory that had 11 ties and three lead changes.
• Flinn finished with 14 kills and 13 digs.
• Mitchell posted 15 kills
• Pugliano recorded 12 kills.
• Brandon Millias handed out 45 assists.

#4 Stevens 3, Kean 0

• The Cougars were outmatched as they dropped a straight sets sweep to a national semifinalist.
• Stevens hit. 449 for the match, while holding Kean to a .024 percentage.
• Michael McSorley, Nick Huzar and Owen String all notched four kills apiece.
• David Flores posted 11 assists.
• Tyler Quinn collected eight digs.
